Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Receive work orders and retrieve the customer’s car, bringing it to the proper stall area.
Work with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with the work order and all dealership and manufacturer standards.
Diagnose and repair issues as authorized by the customer.
Use professional communication skills with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
For jobs under warranty or as requested by customers, label and save parts for turning in.
Keep the service advisor informed of any changes to the timeline for your work, such as if more work is needed, if the work requested is not required, or if more time is needed to complete the requested work.
Maintain adequate documentation of your work.

Ensure the customer complaint is fully resolved through road tests and other quality checks.
Perform quality checks on your and others’ work.
Attend all training classes.
Use factory technical bulletins to expand your knowledge and preparation for servicing customer vehicles.
Take responsibility for the cleanliness of the customer’s vehicle at all stages of your work.
Follow and apply all safety and administration procedures exactly.
Obey and understand all automotive service and repair guidelines, including all federal, state, local, and other guidelines.
